Happy Juneteenth!

Juneteenth (a portmanteau of June and nineteenth) is the oldest nationally celebrated commemoration of the ending of slavery in the United States. It celebrates June 19, 1865, when federal troops arrived in Texas to take possession of the state and enforce the emancipation of its slaves. Observances of Juneteenth typically emphasize education, cultural enlightenment, and self-improvement. While Juneteenth celebrates African-American freedom, it also encourages people to respect all cultures and celebrate their freedom by building stronger communities.

You can acknowledge a significant period in our history that has shaped and continues to influence our society today. Giving away imprinted bumper stickers with your company name and logo or promotional t-shirts will help you demonstrate your respect for America's history and offer your employees with a new perspective on independence and freedom.
