This February celebrate a major part of our countries history with Black History Month. There are many influential African Americans that have fought for Black rights over the past centuries. Leaders like Harriet Tubman, Jackie Robinson, Martin Luther King Jr. and now even President Obama, have participated in the fight for equality. Their actions as well as words help remind us that no matter what you look like, you are still welcome to the same rights and freedoms as everyone else.
This month it's important that the views and beliefs of those African American leaders, and many more, that changed this countries outlook on skin color are celebrated. Teach younger generations about Black History month with promotional posters and pamphlets.
