World Hello Day (November 21)

(Via: Shoofly Audio)

Bonjour! ¡Hola! Ciao! Hallo! Olá! Konnichiha… Hello

The salutation is so commonplace but a pleasant greeting can brighten someone’s day. World Hello Day was created in 1973 because of the raging quarrels between Egypt and Israel; world leaders wanted to manifest the magnitude of choosing communication rather than force in order to handle conflicts.

It’s easy to celebrate World Hello Day! All you have to do is give ten people a genuinely cordial greeting on the day. You can extend your celebration of the day by greeting your employees with a breakfast. Nothing says hello and good morning than a hot breakfast with coffee, tea and hot chocolate! Greet your best clients with unique direct mail promotional products just to remind them that they are appreciated.

Can you even imagine what the world would be like if people used negotiation and intellectually driven conversation in order to solve their conflicts rather than violence or force?
