John F. Kennedy, Jr. was born on November 25, 1960. He was the third child and first son of President John F. Kennedy and Jacqueline Kennedy. For many, in his later years, JFK, Jr. was seen as an invulnerable charming young man, who suffered great tragedy early in his life with the assassination of his father and his uncle (Robert F. Kennedy). He was a lawyer, pilot, journalist, magazine publisher (George Magazine) and a highly photographed socialite in his short life.

He died in a plane crash along with his wife and sister-in-law on July 16, 1999. He would have been 48 today.
