A Day to Remember Always

Tomorrow marks the sixth anniversary of the most notorious day in American history. 9/11 forever changed the world and our place in it. You should spend tomorrow reflecting on the thousands of lives lost on that fateful morning. However, take time to also think of the bravery and indominatable spirits of the scores of rescue workers that gave their lives trying to save others, or those who toiled night and day to help clean up Ground Zero.

Many companies commeorate 9/11 by having periods of silence at 8:59am and 9:29am, the times when each of the towers fell. Some support employee attendance of memorial services while other hold their own. A good tactic to show your patriotism might be to gift the workers in your company with products branded with the American flag. This can promote pride and solidarity in any kind of situaion.
If you'd wish to share any 9/11 experiences, stories, or suggestions for remembering this important date, please contact us.

National Infant Mortality Awareness Month

Incidences of infant mortality remind us all to not take a single minute of life for granted, since it can be taken away from us at ANY moment.

September is dedicated raising awareness about infant mortality in order to help expecting mothers seek out the best pre-natal care as possible. There are some precautions that can help reduce the risk of sudden infant death syndrome (SIDS), which occurs where a typically healthy baby between the ages of one month and one year suddenly dies for no apparent reason. Quality pre-natal care and a healthy behavior during the gestation period can allow expecting parents to avoid any complications with their pregnancies and improve the survival odds for their offspring. After the births, parents should ensure that their children are well-monitored and live in a healthy environment.

To show your support to this cause, you can organize special programs in your company for workers who are expecting a child. You can extend maternity/paternity leaves and donate to charities concerned with infant mortality. There are alsoa numberof light-hearted infant toys that you can use a give-aways to reinforce your alignment with this cause.
