Children's Book Week

Children's Book Week is an annual event sponsored by The Children's Book Council to encourage young people to read. Reading is a great activity that not only increases reading comprehension and helps kids do better in school, but is also a great way for kids of all ages to have fun and let the imagination run wild. With reading, kids can experience a life of fantasy and magic, explore far away times and places, as well as learn more about our own world. It also makes a great alternative to video and computer games.

Motivate the youth in your life to read and the benefits of it will surpass expectations. To show support for Children's Book Week give out promotional books at your workplace or in your community to help ensure that kids have access to books and have a chance to read.
